Establish a skin routine -:
Your skin is your biggest organ and it needs some delicate treatments and care. You should wash your face twice a day with mild cleanser. Do not scrub your face because it can worsen the acne. You can treat breakouts with herbal products. Be sure to use oil free moisturizer after cleanse your face.
Change the cosmetics you use -:
There is no substantial evidence to show that makeup can lead to development of acne. However, if you are suffering from the condition of acne changing in the cosmetics you use can be beneficial for you. Heavy, oily and harsh chemical products can trigger the acne. Always choose the makeup products which are oil free and labeled as non- comedogenic. Changing the cleanser which can cause acne, also have a positive effect on the condition.
Eat healthy diet -:
Usually what you eat does not have a direct impact on your acne. Poor diet can lower your immune system, making you more susceptible to illnesses, fatigue and infections. All these factors further can lead to the formation of acne. So, it is important to eat a healthy diet containing fruits, vegetables, fiber foods and drink plenty of water. It will boost your immune system which may help you to fight against acne.
Keep your hair and hands away from your face -:
Generally, your hair and hands come in contact with numbers of bacteria, funguses and with dust throughout the day and these can easily be transferred to your skin. Tying your hair back so that they cannot touch your face and it is the easy way to reduce the spread of germs. Wash your hands properly to avoid transmission of germs to your face.
Reduce stress -:
Stop letting stress control you by learning how to control stress. Maintain healthy balance between your personal lives and work life. Taking too much stress can lead to the formation of stress hormones which can cause acne. Get some hours for your own self to do things you enjoy whether it is playing outdoor or indoor games or just simple as reading a book. Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep which can give your body relaxation.
Regular workout and exercise can make your skin healthy. It can be in any forms such as exercise, heavy strength training and even walking or running with your dog. It will give you feeling of positivity, boost your immune system and extract dirt from your body by releasing excessive sweat.
Avoid stimulants -:
Stimulants like cigarette, alcohol, coffee and soda should be avoided. These stimulants affect the central nervous system of the body. It results in more redness to the face and more production of oil by sebaceous gland, which causes acne. Try to minimize the intake of stimulants by performing a few minutes of exercising early in the morning upon decreasing stimulants.
Avoid sun exposure -:
Avoid the sun as much as possible because the harmful rays of sun can damage your skin. The sun kills bacteria but also acts as an astringent to dry and clog the skin pores. Always use moisturizers and cover your face when you go outside.
